How to fix Intel Hardware Accelerated Execution Manager (HAXM) error in Android Studio

Whenever you open android studio ide and you start to make your app and try to test it into inbuilt Android Emulator. But when you open Android emulator you see a error message that  " x86 emulation currently require a hardware acceleration! ". This is why because your android studio is missing a SDK tool that is " Emulator Accelerator (HAXM) ". When you download HAXM on your android studio then error will be removed. Here we discussed how to download and install intel HAXM tool :

Install intel HAXM tool:



Step 1:


First open your android studio with your project wait for refreshing.

Step 2:


Go to File à Settings or you simply press the shortcut key CTRL + ALT + S.

Step 3:

Now a panel will be opened. Click on Android SDK label which is available at left hand side.

Step 4:

There are three tabs you can see that is SDK Platform, SDK Tools, SDK Update Sites. You just click on SDK Tools tab.

Step 5:

Here you see the tool named as Intel x86 Emulator Accelerator (HAXM) . Click on checkbox of this tool and click on apply button.

Step 6:

Just wait for few seconds it takes up some time to download and install the package.

Step 7:

After downloading, just click on OK button.

Now, your android emulator free from this error. you can start your emulator without any error. But rest of requirements of Android Emulator must be maintain.
